Welcome to Mother Goose Pre-School!

Welcome!

Mother Goose Pre-School is a small, welcoming and vibrant Ofsted-registered preschool that cares for children from the age of two to five-years old. We are open Monday to Friday during school term times, between 9.15am to 12.15pm, and during the spring and summer months, offer an optional 'Rising Five' session which ends at 2.45pm for those children who are due to start school in September. We offer an optional ‘Lunch Club', which operates each day until 1.15pm and have recently introduced an ‘Early Drop Off’ which extends the session time.

The pre-school is situated in Wimpole Village Hall near Royston, where we have full use of the premises and a dedicated outdoor play area. Originally established in 1992, the pre-school is a registered charity managed by a voluntary committee, and has built up a well-regarded and proven reputation for delivering high quality early years care and education to local families.

The pre-school provides funded early years education for 2,3 and 4 year olds and supports children with special educational needs, disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language. We have a maximum of 24 children who attend the preschool at any one time, and follow the Revised Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
